The news that Mbappe was refusing to renew came as a surprise to PSG chiefs in the summer, who tried everything to change his mind. The desire of the club was to sell him, but the interest in him was not that great, with the most serious offer coming from Saudi Arabia from Al-Hilal, but the striker refused to go to the Middle East.
