The contract includes no options.
McDaniels, who became 23 years old in September, enjoyed a breakout year last campaign, averaging 12 points while shooting over 50% from the field and almost 40% from the 3-point line and also became a starter for the Wolves.
One of the league’s best defenders in the past campaign, Jaden held opposing shooters to below 44% shooting as the nearest defender.
With better defense stats last season in the NBA, only 2 players were Mikal Bridges and O.G. Anunoby.
Jaden deal is in a similar range to the 4-year, 90 million extension that Bridges inked with Phoenix Suns in 2021.
