Murray notches 34, Nuggets top Suns 125-107 in Game 1

Jamal Murray finished with 34 points, scoring 6 of his team’s 16 three-pointers, and helped the Denver Nuggets to win comfortably against the Phoenix Suns 125-107 at Ball Arena in Denver, CO, and led 1-0 in the ½ final series in the Western Conference.

The current MVP and MVP finalist Nikola Jokic notched 24 and had 19 boards as Aaron Gordon helped with 23 points for the victory of the top seed in the West.

Kevin Durant notched 29 points for Phoenix, and Devin Booker scored 27, but Chris Paul finished with only 11. Devin averaged over 37 points in the 1^st round matchup victory against LA Clippers.

The next game is on Monday again at Ball Arena.

Two seasons ago, Phoenix swept Denver in the 2^nd round of the playoffs, but the Nuggets were without Jamal Murray, who was out for the season with torn ACL.
