Mohamed Salah has warned that Liverpool can’t afford to drop any more points if they want to stay in the title race.
The Reds remain second only a point adrift from League leaders Arsenal, but they also recorded a consecutive draws at their own stadium.
That has caused Salah to share his concern about his team’s performances.
“We know we can’t keep dropping points like this and we will keep fighting to do better.” Salah wrote in a social media post.
The Reds were hopeful they could greet Christmas on top of the table. That, by no means, gives them any advantage, but a returning Manchester City, who always become stronger in the second half of the season are always a concern.
For the moment Citizens sit 5th with 34 points, 6 adrift from the leaders, but they have a game in hand.
