Toronto Raptors decided to add the University of California, LA assistant basketball coach Ivo Simovic to their coaching staff as he will also continue to work as an assistant in Toronto.

He joins his Serbian compatriot Darko Rajakovic, the franchise’s head coach, as the pair already worked together in their native country and Spain.
Simovic entered the Bruins program in the summer of 2022 after being an assistant coach at Loyola University Maryland for 4 years between 2018 and 2022.
Ivo was part of the UCLA 31-6 overall record in the past season, as they clinched their 1st Pac-12 Conference regular-season title for the 1st time since 2013 and progressed to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16.
