Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell received a green light to take the field on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after successfully clearing the concussion protocol.
The talented cornerback had sustained the injury during the previous week’s hard-fought 13-8 victory over the New York Jets. Terrell, who had been limited in practice for two days, demonstrated his readiness by fully participating in Friday’s practice session, signaling his return to the active lineup.
Officially active: Trevor Lawrence, Derek Carr, Cameron Jordan, Chris Olave, A.J. Terrell, Amari Cooper, Travis Etienne, Tyler Boyd.

While Terrell’s return brings a positive note for the Falcons, the team faces challenges with the absence of several key starters. Offensive tackle Kaleb McGary, dealing with a knee issue, defensive tackle David Onyemata, nursing an ankle injury, and linebacker Nate Landman, recovering from a knee problem, have all been ruled out for the upcoming game.
