Aaron Ramsdale could lose his position as the No.1 goalkeeper as Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta grows more and more impressed with new signing David Raya.
According to reports, Arteta is considering giving Raya a prolonged first-team outing in the next couple of weeks, which would see Ramsdale fall down the pecking order.

Ramsdale is coming off the back of brilliant season, in which he was voted as the best goalkeeper, but increasing pressure from new loan signing could intervene with his long term plans.
The Gunners came under severe criticism for their transfer policy as they acquired a second keeper without really needing it. Therefore, Arteta is trying to prove a point that Raya’s signing is not unjustified and might as well give him the chance to shine.
