Joao Gomes had a perfect chance to give the lead to the Wolves in the 30th minute, but David Raya saved his shot, and with the help of the post, the Gunners avoided allowing a goal.
Leandro Trossard secured the lead for Arsenal in the 45th minute after a fantastic shot inside the penalty area into the top right corner after Gabriel Jesus’s assist.
In the extra time, Martin Odegaard secured the 3 points with his goal to double Arsenal’s lead and to get back his club at the top of the table in the league.
The Gunners kept a club record 6th straight away league clean sheet that allows them to continue their fight for the title with Man City and Liverpool.
