Arsenal could still win the Premier League title and is not happy with just qualifying in the top 4, despite that being the exact ambitions of the team in the beginning of the season, says manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners title aspirations took a heavy hit after 4-1 trashing by title rivals Manchester City last week and Arteta’s men currently sit 2nd with a point behind the Citizens, who still have a game in hand. There are 5 games left until season finale.
Despite all the setback Arteta still believes his squad is ready to give it all.
“That is the mentality that we need and that is what I love more the last few days,” he said ahead of Tuesday’s home game against Chelsea. “We are still not satisfied, we are still upset and we want more.”
Arsenal face struggling Chelsea on Tuesday night and desperately need a win to keep their slim title chances alive.
