Third quarter dominance turned out crucial for Suns' victory

The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 127-100, with Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant making successful returns from injuries. Devin Booker led the Suns with 26 points and 10 assists, helping the team snap a five-game losing streak. Beal, who had missed five games due to a strained left calf, scored 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including 3-of-6 from three-point range.

Durant, also returning from a seven-game absence, added 23 points of his own. The Lakers were led by Anthony Davis, who recorded 25 points and 15 rebounds, while LeBron James contributed 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The game was competitive in the first half, but the Suns dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Lakers 36-18. Booker scored 11 points during this run, and Jusuf Nurkic added 10 points, helping the Suns build a 20-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Phoenix’s defense stifled Los Angeles, with the Lakers shooting just 23.5% from beyond the arc. D’Angelo Russell scored 16 points, and Austin Reaves added 15 for the Lakers, who have now lost three consecutive games. The Suns looked strong with Beal and Durant back in the lineup, while Nurkic finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds to secure the win.
