Chelsea are reportedly preparing to make a surprise move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, whose future at Old Trafford remains uncertain despite his return to the squad this summer.
The 24-year-old’s relationship with United manager Erik ten Hag was strained last season, leading to speculation about his long-term prospects with the club.

According to reports from Germany, Chelsea have emerged as a potential suitor for Sancho. The west London club is reportedly willing to offer a transfer fee along with two academy players as part of a swap deal for the former England international. Additionally, Chelsea is open to discussing a loan deal with an obligation to buy, while also covering Sancho’s substantial weekly salary of around £350,000. His current contract with Manchester United runs until 2026.
Earlier, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) appeared to be in the lead to sign Sancho, with talks of a swap deal involving midfielder Manuel Ugarte. However, that deal now seems to have stalled, leaving the door open for Chelsea to make their move.
