Cairo (32) has been the NFL organization from Chicago kicker since the 2020 campaign. Santos has scored 104 of 114 FG attempts during that period, including 27 of 29 this campaign. The veteran 30 FGs made in 2020 were an organization’s record.
The new deal ties the kicker to the Bears through the 2027 campaign.
Cairo was part of Chicago for a short period in 2017 and has also played for the Chiefs, Rams, Bucs, and Titans during his long career in the NFL. He has been part of the National Football League for 10 campaigns and will have the chance to impress for 4 more seasons with the Bears.
