Borussia Dortmund defeated Atletico Madrid 4-2 at Signal Iduna Park in Germany and, with an aggregate score of 5-4 from the 2 legs, reached the ½ finals of the Champions League, where they will face PSG, who eliminated Barcelona.

Dortmund played great and scored twice in the 1st half to eliminate the 1-goal deficit from the 1st leg and take advantage in the matchup. Julian Brandt scored from inside the penalty box in the 34th minute after Mats Hummels’ assist, as only 5 minutes later, the Black and Yellow scored again after Ian Maatsen’s phenomenal solo run, and his shot inside the penalty box went into Jan Oblak’s net.
The Spanish side began the 2nd half phenomenally as Mats Hummels scored an own goal in the 49th minute, and Angel Correa scored in the 64th minute to tie the game and give the advantage from both legs to Simeone’s club.
However, Dortmund scored 2 goals within 3 minutes as Niclas Fullkrug netted in the 71st minute after Marcel Sabitzer’s assist to make it 3-2 and Marcel Sabitzer himself scored the most important goal in the 74th minute that send his team to the last 4 teams remaining in the Champions League.
