The Portuguese was voted Man of the match against Manchester United
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said Bernardo Silva was “indispensable” after the midfielder was named man of the match in the 3-0 derby win against Manchester United.
“I can talk for 10 minutes about what Bernardo means to me, to our team,” Guardiola told Sky Sports.
“He is a footballer who is more than good, in all phases of the game. He understands everything. We are in love with him. We were afraid of losing him. He is irreplaceable.”
“He told me: ‘I love playing here at Old Trafford’. And every time we come here, he performs really well,” added the City manager.
