West Ham briefly threatened before halftime, but Chelsea quickly put the game beyond doubt. Cole Palmer scored the third goal just two minutes into the second half, finishing off a move initiated by Jackson on the counterattack.
Chelsea’s win lifts them to 10 points from five matches, sitting second in the table on goal difference, just two points behind Manchester City. Meanwhile, West Ham are struggling in 14th place with only one win from five games, and they face mounting pressure as they look to reverse their poor home form, having lost their first three home matches of the season.
