Jonathan Jones gave his opinion on the current situation of recent suspensions via Twitter.
Colts players Isaiah Rodgers and Rashod Berry, as well as free agent Demetrius Taylor were suspended indefinitely Thursday for placing bets on NFL games from the 2022 season.
Titans offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere was also handed a six-games ban for betting on non-NFL games while at the Titans’ facility.
Jones addressed the events, as he wrote:
“I understand rules are rules, But I can risk my life so that my team wins but I can’t risk 1k on my team winning,”

The 29-year-old has spent 7 years at the NFL, recording 330 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 9 forced fumbles and 11 interceptions. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion.
