Manchester City defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley and will defend its FA Cup trophy from the past season after Bernardo Silva netted the only goal in the match in the 84th minute.
Chelsea had a fantastic chance to score in the 1st half as Nicolas Jackson was alone against Ortega but the Blues forward didn’t shot and after that the only thing that he could do was to pass the ball. In the 2nd half, Nicolas Jackson had another golden opportunity and this time he shot but the Sky Blues goalkeeper saved his shot.

Pochettino’s side demanded a penalty after Jack Grealish touched the ball inside his team’s penalty area after a free kick for Chelsea, but the VAR didn’t intervene.
Despite the Blues’ dominance, Bernardo Silva pounced on a loose ball inside the penalty area and netted into the bottom right corner to secure the lead for Guardiola’s side in the 84th minute, and they kept it to qualify for the FA Cup, where they will face Manchester United or Coventry.
Erling Haaland didn’t play because of an injury.
