Tottenham manager Angelos Postecoglou analyzed his team’s performance in the game of the 11th round of the Premier League against Chelsea. Spurs lost 1:4 as they were playing over 20 minutes with two players less.
“It’s hard to understand what happened. It’s impossible to analyze a match like this because everything just got out of hand. I’m disappointed with the result, but I’m proud of the players – they gave it their all. We almost equalized a few times and that shows how strong the spirit of the team is, but the circumstances were too unfavorable,” Postecoglou told Sky Sports.
Romero and Udogie left Tottenham in a difficult position, getting red cards and despite their brave tactics to defend with high defensive line, they had had to swallow the defeat.
