The head coach shared that his team need reinforcement.

Spurs are “short in a couple of areas” and “need to reinforce” during the winter transfer window, claims boss Ange Postecoglou.

The North London side was defeated in 3 of their last 4 EPL matches and is currently in the bottom half of the table at 11th place. Liverpool trashed them 3-0 in London in their last clash in the past weekend.

The negative results have coincided with injuries to key footballers, including goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and defenders Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.

Ange shared with the media that before his team’s trip to face 4th-placed Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, the team would want to bring new players next month.

“Like I already shared in the past, our team is planning. The most important thing is what players we have available at that time of the year. It’s no surprise to anyone that we are a little bit short in a couple of positions and need to sign players,” shared Tottenham’s head coach.

Ange added that it is hard to ink quality footballers during January, which will be a long-term solution, but they will try their best to do it.
