The management of the French champion Paris Saint-Germain has made an exceptional offer of over 80 million euros per year to its star, Kylian Mbappé, with a contract extension for two more seasons, as reported by journalist François David from Le Parisien. He adds that Parisians continue to harbor serious hopes of retaining the striker at the Parc des Princes for some time.
Their optimism stems from information suggesting that Real Madrid is firmly resolved not to offer a financially lucrative deal to Mbappé. Weeks ago, another French journalist was of the opinion that PSG’s offer is grandiose and unmatched by any other club. Real Madrid’s proposal will not exceed the current contract terms for Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, who are the highest-paid players at Santiago Bernabéu. Various media outlets have reported in recent weeks that the offer will be around 30 million euros.
Mbappé and his representatives are still engaged in various discussions, and a final decision has not been reached. It remains unclear whether there is a deadline for such a decision, although it was previously claimed that Real Madrid sought a definitive answer by the end of January.
