When Haason Reddick became a NY Jets player after an exchange with Philadelphia at the beginning of the offseason, he shared that he would be happy no matter what happens with his deal. But without a new deal, the pass rusher has missed the franchise’s OTAs.

Haason hasn’t appeared any of the offseason work that was public as the player didn’t confirm that he missed them because of deal situation, but there are rumors that he demands a new contract. OTAs are voluntary, but we can barely see missing players.
When the NFL organization from the Big Apple acquired Reddick, they acquired the final season of a 3-year deal he inked with the Eagles 2 years ago. That deal calls for the pass rusher to get paid 15 million dollars in the upcoming campaign.
None of the money is guaranteed, so Haason, without a doubt, wouldn’t want to risk doing anything that would lead the franchise to let him go, although that is not the Jets’ agenda.
