After intensive talks in the past few months, Mohamed Salah will remain Liverpool player after signing a new deal with the team for 2 more years.
The forward was set to see his previous contract expire at the end of the campaign. But now Mohamed will not become free agent as he inked a new deal at Anfield.
The Egyptian superstar spoke to the club’s site after the news of his new contract: “It is a privilege for me to stay here. It is very exciting. Liverpool have a great team at the moment. In the past, we also had a great team. But I inked because in my opinion we have a chance to triumph with many trophies and enjoy my game.

“It is fantastic. I had the best years of my career here. I competed for the club for 8 years, hopefully I will do it for 2 more. I like being here and playing football.
“I also want to thank the supporters and tell them that I’m very happy to be a footballer here. We will do our best to make you happy by winning more trophies.”
Salah came to the Reds from AS Roma in the summer of 2017.
