Duke men’s basketball manager Jon Scheyer has agreed to a 6-season deal extension that will keep him at his current position through the 2028-29 campaign.
Jon’s new contract comes after a debut campaign that featured an ACC tournament championship and a 27-9 finish.
He replaced the legendary Mike Krzyzewski, who retired, and made it possible for Scheyer to be promoted to the boss of Duke in 2022.

The school, which has had back-to-back number 1 national recruiting classes under their current manager, is hosting the number 1 player in the class of 2024, forward Cooper Flagg of Maine, in the next few days in Durham.
Scheyer holds the record as the only person to triumph in the ACC tournament as both a manager and a player. Jon played for Krzyzewski, as he won the national title with them in 2010 and, after that, spent 8 years as an assistant before getting the head job position.
