Martinelli was the key player for the 2nd goal of Arsenal in the 28th minute when the Brazilian assisted with a lofted cross into the box of his teammate in the club and in the national team Gabriel Jesus who headed it for 2-0.
Minutes before the end of the first half Jordan Henderson shot the ball, but it became an assist for Mohamed Salah, who scored inside the box to make it 1:2.
The Reds were the dominant team in the 2nd half, and in the 52nd minute, a foul by Rob Holding after a corner resulted in a penalty. Salah took the penalty but missed as his shot went outside the left post.
The team of Klopp continued to be the better team on the pitch, and in the 87th minute, the logical thing happened. Roberto Firmino, who entered in the 2nd half, scored a header after an assist from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
