West Ham United won against Arsenal 1-0 at Emirates, and the chances of the Gunners winning the Premier League vanished after the disappointing performance at their stadium.
The only goal in the match was scored near the end of the 1st half. The former Man United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka made a fantastic cross and found Jarrod Bowen, who headed the ball into Raya’s net, leaving no chance for the Spanish goalkeeper to save his shot.
Things became even worse for the home side when Myles Lewis-Skelly was sent off. The Gunners midfielder received a yellow card at first, but after a VAR review, the referee canceled the yellow card and showed him a red card for stopping a clear goal chance for the Hammers.

Even with 8 minutes of additional time, the Gunners failed to score, and their title hopes disappeared as they are now 8 points behind Liverpool.
That was the Gunners’ 1st defeat in the EPL in the past 4 months.
