Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany.
The German international, currently with his national team at the European Championship, has attracted the attention of the Gunners as they look to bolster their midfield.
Kimmich, who scored the decisive goal in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals between Bayern and Arsenal this season, is known for his versatility, playing both as a right-back and a defensive midfielder. Arsenal sees Kimmich as a valuable addition to their squad, offering top-tier quality in two positions.
According to Sky Sport Germany, Liverpool and Man City are also among the clubs looking into a potential deal.

Also, Kai Havertz could play a role in eventual negotiations as Kimmich and him are teammates in German national team. Kimmich has been linked with transfer to Barcelona in the past months, but Catalan side’s financial troubles could make the deal very difficult and as the midfielder doesn’t intend to stay one more year with Bayern, Arsenal looks like very possible option for him.
