The Spaniard claimed that the choice not to rule out Anthony Gordon’s goal in the Gunners defeat against Newcastle at the beginning of the month as shameful and wrong, after VAR looked for 3 different foul-plays during the goal but in the end, the goal remained.
“Arsenal’s head coach has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3.1 after his rant that he made in media interviews after his side’s Premier League match vs. Newcastle United on Saturday, Nov. 4th,” the FA announced today.
“It’s assessed that his comments constitute misconduct as they are insulting towards referees and/or detrimental to the football and/or bring the game into dishonor.”
The Gunners manager has 4 days to respond to the charge.
