Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has inked a 2-year deal extension that will keep him with the Blues until 2023, the team from Stamford Bridge revealed today.
The 23-year-old joined the West London club from Villarreal in the past summer on an 8-year contract and went on to net 17 goals in all tournaments in the past campaign. Jackson started this season with 2 goals in 4 matches.
Nicolas Jackson had the best dribble success rate (59.3%) of any striker in the Premier League last season (75+ attempted). ⚡️

“I’m really happy to be part of this club, and that’s why I’m more than satisfied to ink the extension,” Nicolas shared after the news broke out.
“It is fantastic that Chelsea trusted me and offered me an extension. I will work hard to give my all for the club and the fans.”
The extension sees the Blues continue the trend of offering their young footballers lengthy deals. In August, Cole Palmer inked a 2-year extension to keep him at the team also until 2023.
In the summer transfer window, Chelsea signed 11 new players, but the new head coach, Enzo Maresca, showed his trust in Jackson.
Maresca also congratulated Nicolas on his extension and claimed that he is very happy about the forward.
