Arizona outscored New York 20-0 in the 1st half but somehow found a way to lose the match.

Daniel Jones finished with 321 yards and 2 TDs; Graham Gano scored a 34-yard field goal with seconds remaining in the match, and the NY Giants comeback from a 21-point 3rd quarter deficit to shock the Arizona Cardinals and beat them 31-28.

It was the biggest comeback victory for the NFL franchise from the Big Apple since a 21-point rally in 1949 — as the funny fact is that the Giants did it also vs. the Cardinals.

The NFL organization from New York lost the season-opener 40-0 vs. Dallas, and things look even worse against Arizona during the 1st half, as the result after the 1st 30 minutes was 20-0 for the Cardinals. New York trailed 28-7 in the 3rd quarter but made it 28-14 after Saquon Barkley‘s 1-yard TD run.

Giants kept the pressure on in the final quarter, pulling within 28-21 with almost 9 minutes on the clock on a 9-yard TD pass from Daniel to Barkley. They evened the clash on Jones’ 11-yard TD pass to Isaiah Hodgins.

Graham Gano finished the comeback with a field goal in the game’s final seconds, leaving no time for the Cardinals to answer.
