Cole Palmer made Premier League history in Chelsea’s match against Brighton by becoming the first player to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League match.
The 22-year-old Englishman found the net in the 21st, 28th, 31st, and 41st minutes, leading Chelsea to a commanding 4-2 lead by halftime.

This remarkable performance also brought Palmer’s total number of Premier League hat-tricks for Chelsea to three, equaling the club record held by legends such as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Didier Drogba, and Frank Lampard.
Palmer has been a fundamental part of Chelsea’s squad since his transfer last summer when the London side bought him from Manchester City for £42.5 million. The English international already has 52 games for Chelsea, having scored 27 goals and adding 10 assists.
