Detroit was close to shocking Boston at TD Garden but lost after overtime.

Boston Celtics won against Detroit Pistons 128-122 after overtime at TD Garden as that was the away team’s 28th consecutive defeat in the NBA.

Pistons were leading by 19 points after the 1st half, but they blew the lead after an awful 3rd quarter where the Celtics outscored them 35-16, and even that, they were able to force an OT; in the end, the home team won the match.

Kristaps Porzingis scored 35 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and gave 1 assist, while Jayson Tatum notched 31 points, had 7 boards, and gave 10 assists for Boston’s triumph.

Cade Cunningham finished with 31 points, 6 boards, and 9 assists, as Jaden Ivey had a double-double – 22 points and 10 rebounds, but despite their effort, Detroit was defeated for a record 28th time in a row since the beginning of the season.

Boston Celtics are 1st in the Eastern Conference with 24 victories and 6 defeats, as Boston is in a series of 4 straight wins in the league.
