The Argentinian has put pen to paper for the Chelsea's job

Mauricio Pochettino has agreed  to sign new contract, which would make him the new Chelsea’s manager.

Reports say it is a three-year deal and the Argentinian will be flying from Spain to England to complete the formalities of his appointment.

The ex-Spurs and PSG coach has been out of work for the past year and was determined to get back on the touchline.

The 51-year-old was a heavy favorite for the managerial position ever since Graham Potter’s sacking but decided to take over Chelsea in the summer, leaving Frank Lampard as interim boss.

Pochettino has a huge task ahead of him with Chelsea suffering one of its worst seasons in recent history. The Blues have bagged only 43 points so far and are sitting 12th in the table as they are guaranteed a bottom-half finish, something that hasn’t happened in 27 years.
