Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino shared that he is using a crossbar challenge with Mykhailo Mudryk to try and improve the Ukrainian confidence.
🔵🇺🇦 Pochettino: “Mudryk said to me: I don’t want to play crossbar challenge with you anymore because you always win”.
“I said: yes, because I had the belief, I know the balance very well because I am 50 years old. You are still young, you need to still know yourself”. pic.twitter.com/LVr1pKYNZx

Mykhailo inked from Shakhtar Donetsk in a transfer for almost 100 million dollars at the beginning of the year, but he is yet to net a goal after 22 matches for the club.
The boss and the player have been going head-to-head at Cobham.
“With Mudryk, I like to compete to hit the crossbar from outside the box,” the Blues manager shared.
“Mudryk told me, ‘I don’t want to play anymore with you because you always triumph.’ I answered ‘yes, because I have the confidence, and the balance between confidence and quality I know very well because I’m 50 years old. You’re still young, and you need to learn it.
“Today was the 1st day we drew because, in the previous challenges, I triumphed. Now, you start to have self-confidence and see your quality. If not, it’s tough to balance belief and quality.”
