Marcus Rashford will be able to take part in Manchester United’s last Champions League group stage game against Bayern Munich.
That was confirmed today as UEFA decided against extending the forward’s ban following his straight red card against Copenhagen.
Rashford’s dismissal caused major uproar as many deeming it too harsh and the governing body seems to have taken this stamp.
The decision means the 26-year-old will miss solely the Galatasaray and will be able to compete against the Bavarians at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils will be hopeful they will still be in the competition by then as three defeats in four games have left their hopes hanging by a thread.
Erik ten Hag must defeat the Turkish side if they wish to qualify for the knockout phase.
