The English football governing body claimed Arsenal’s winger joined his teammates at St. Georges Park with a problem and has been unable to train with his teammates.
Bukayo will be sidelined for his country’s upcoming friendlies vs. Brazil and Belgium 3 days later.
Southgate decided not to call a replacement for the Gunners player, who has netted 11 goals in 32 matches for England. Saka has been named England men’s player of the year in the past 2 years.
He played 120 minutes in his club side’s UCL 2nd leg vs. Porto, scoring his penalty in the shootout that led to the triumph of his team, and the Gunners will play against Bayern Munich in the ¼ finals of the Champions League.
The Gunners’ next match is vs. Manchester City at the Etihad at the end of the month, and all Arsenal supporters hope that the winger will be healthy to be on the pitch and help Arteta’s side in the fight for the title until the end of the season.
