Thomas Partey is set to miss his international duties through injury, the Ghana FA confirmed.
The length of the injury is still unknown, but it is believed that Partey will miss at least one month of football.
The 30-year-old started in all of Arsenal’s opening 3 games and is Mikel Arteta’s one of the most prominent forces in defense.
“We need a few more tests but he felt something in training and we think he will be out for a couple of weeks.” Arteta said before the Manchester United clash.
Partey was already playing out of position as a right-back after Jurien Timber severe injury, picked up on the opening day against Nottingham Forest. The news is another blow for Arteta, who loses another defender for an unknown amount of time.
