The Blues have agreed a deal to ink Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo for a British record fee of 146 million dollars.
On Friday, Liverpool agreed to a 141-million-dollar deal for the Ecuadorian midfielder.
However, Moises rejected them as he only wanted to sign with Chelsea, and his wish came true after the North London club made several offers during the summer transfer window. Still, the Seagulls rejected them all until this moment.

The transfer fee means that Chelsea will break the British record for a 2nd time this year after they spent 136 million dollars during the winter transfer window for Enzo Fernandez.
Caicedo, who didn’t play for Brighton in their 1st match from the new campaign in Premier League against Luton, is still to have medical tests.
Brighton even put a sell-on clause for the Ecuador player so they can earn even more money from him if Chelsea decide to sell him, as he is still only 21 years old.
