Axel inked a 6-year deal and became new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s 6th new addition during the summer transfer window as before that, Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Diego Moreira, Angelo Gabriel, and Lesley Ugochukwu landed in London.
The North London club wanted to strengthen their defense as Wesley Fofana suffered an injury during the preseason that will keep him off the pitch for a few months.
The 25-year-old defender, who had 2 remaining on his deal with the French team, had many eyes on him from Premier League clubs, but the Blues were fast and completed the transfer.
Disasi played 3 matches for France at the past World Cup in Qatar and is expected to have a crucial role at the right-sided center-back. His competition will be Thiago Silva, Trevoh Chalobah, and Levi Colwill.
