Liverpool continued their strong start to the season with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, marking their sixth consecutive victory across all competitions. Diogo Jota’s first-half goal, converting Cody Gakpo’s cross after poor Palace defending, secured the three points for the Reds.
However, the win came at a cost as goalkeeper Alisson was forced off with a hamstring injury late in the game.

Alisson’s injury occurred in the final 10 minutes after making a clearance, leading to the debut of Czech goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros. Despite the setback, Jaros managed to keep Palace at bay, preserving Liverpool’s clean sheet.
Crystal Palace, who have yet to win this season, had an early goal from Eddie Nketiah ruled out for offside, and Ismaila Sarr came close to scoring before halftime. While Liverpool dominated most of the match, their failure to extend the lead gave Palace hope of a late equalizer.

Alisson made two key saves in the second half, stopping efforts from Nketiah and Eberechi Eze.
The win moved Liverpool four points clear at the top of the Premier League table, while Palace remain winless with just three points from seven games, stuck in the relegation zone.
