Pochettino says Tottenham are definitely title contenders

Speaking ahead of the big London derby this weekend Mauricio Pochettino stated that Tottenham Hotspur are definitely title contenders.

It will be Pochettino’s first return to Tottenham since he was sacked back in 2019. The 51-year-old expressed his happiness both for himself and the unbelievable work Ange Postecoglou is doing.

“I’m so happy for him and the club to be doing really well. We cannot forget all that happened there. It’s normal that we are very positive and grateful people,” he said.

Chelsea and Tottenham meet on Monday and the Blues are in dire need of a strong result as they sit in 11th place in the table.
