Raphinha revealed that he “thought about” leaving the Spanish giants amid a “complicated” period before he was linked to Manchester United and Al-Nassr.
The Brazilian is shining under the new manager Hansi Flick, and now it seems like a fair deal when the Catalan side paid 72 million dollars to Leeds for him 2 years ago. However, the Brazilian journey in the country has not been without its difficulties. He often struggled to find his rhythm in attack, and rumors were sending him away from the club. Raphinha spoke for the 1st time that he thought about changing the club during his tough time:
Raphinha: "The news that I was leaving? Yes, it hurt me. I'm not very active on social media, but for example, my wife is always there, my close friends are always there. “Did I consider leaving? Without a doubt,” Raphinha answered. “The first 6 months were complicated for me and my family. After the World Cup, I improved and was able to end the campaign at a great level, but at the beginning, it was very challenging.”
