The NY Jets and Aaron Rodgers most likely will part ways after 2 dissapointing campaigns, as the future Hall of Fame QB will not be part of the franchise this year.
Aaron (41) flew to New Jersey in the past week to talk with new boss Aaron Glenn and new GM Darren Mougey. Sources share that in the meeting they let him know that they will not count on his for the upcoming season.
AARON RODGERS IS STILL A TOP-#NFL QUARTERBACK.
Rodgers had an extremely underrated season…
3,897 yards (3rd Jets history, 8th NFL)
28 TDs (3rd history, t-7th NFL)
192 first downs (8th NFL)
51 passes of 20+ yards (t-8th NFL)
11 INTs (4th fewest among QBs with 28+ TDs)🤯🤯🤯 pic.twitter.com/aPwbvb2JjA

Glenn has been in contact with the quarterback since he was appointed, as the 2 talked about the legendary QB future with the organization. The new head coach declined to talk about Rodgers when he was hired almost 2 weeks ago.
Aaron has 1 season of a nonguaranteed 37.5 million dollar deal as the QB was due to count 23.5 million on the cap.
Rodgers’ departure will leave the franchise from New York with only 1 experienced QB – Tyrod Taylor, who is 35 years old. The organization will focus to sign a quarterback during the offseason or pick at the upcoming draft.
