Robert Lewandowski scored the only goal in the 1st half in the 22nd minute after Ilkay Gundogan’s assist. Gundogan doubled Barca’s lead with his goal in the 49th minute after Pedri’s assist.
However, only 2 minutes later, 19-year-old Samu Omorodion netted for Deportivo Alaves to make it 2-1.
Ilkay Gündogan has provided nine assists across all competitions for Barcelona in 2023/24, the most he has ever recorded in a single season.

Vitor Roque replaced Ilkay Gundogan in the 59th minute, and only 4 minutes later, the Brazilian scored his 2nd goal for Xavi’s team to make the lead again 2 goals for the visiting side. However, Vitor received a yellow card in the 67th minute and 5 minutes later, another yellow card and left his team with 10-man on the pitch until the end.
