Spain shocked France 5-3 after extra time at Parc des Princes in Paris and triumphed with the gold medals at the football tournament of the Olympics.
Enzo Millot scored the opening goal in the 11th minute to give the French team the lead after a huge mistake from Spain’s goalkeeper, but after that, La Roja scored 3 goals within 10 minutes to make a comeback.

Fermin Lopez tied the result with his goal in the 18th minute after Alex Baena’s assist, as only 7 minutes later, Fermin scored his 2nd goals in the match to secure the lead for his country. In the 28th minute, Alex Baena netted to make Spain’s lead 2 goals at halftime.
However, the hosts forced extra time after Maghnes Akliouche made France’s trail only a goal in the 79th minute, and Jean-Philippe Mateta converted a penalty in the extra time of the regular time to force an additional 30 minutes.
Despite the host’s effort, Spain was the better team in the extra time, and a brace from Sergio Camello secured the gold medal for La Roja.
