The Catalan side is set to see Vitor Roque’s transfer fee rise to over 60 million dollars, with most add-ons featured in the deal easily achievable.
Barcelona inked the attacker from Athletico Paranaense in the past summer and rented him back to his Brazilian side until the end of the current season. Still, Xavi’s team changed the plans after securing enough funds to register him during the winter transfer window.
The Catalan club agreed to a 35 million dollar fixed payment for Vitor, with an additional 35 million dollars in add-ons. At this point, the Brazilian teenager cost the team only 7 million dollars. However, Barca must pay an additional 7 million dollars after the end of the campaign and again every 6 months until reaching the agreed 35 million dollar transfer fee.
Roque will cost his new Spanish club another 7 million dollars for each campaign he appears in more than half of the team’s matches.
