The Toffees recorded two wins in a row in Premier League for the first time in more than a year

Despite outrageous miss from Dominic Calvert-Lewin Everton managed to upset Newcastle United with a 3-0 win in a game of the 15th round of the Premier League.

Dwight McNeil opened the scoring for the home side with a sharp strike in the 79th minute and Abdoulaye Doukoure doubled Everton’s lead in the 86th after Jack Harrison’s pass.

In the sixth minute of the added time Beto scored his first goal for the team in the Premier League. However, Calvert-Lewin’s big miss in the 39th minute will remain a landmark moment of the match, after the striker failed to score from a few meters from the opponent’s goal.

The success lifted Everton out of the danger zone and the team is now 17th with 10 points. Everton recorded two consecutive victories in the English football elite for the first time in more than a year.
