Julian Nagelsmann is set to be the new coach of Germany, Christian Falk of “Bild Sport” reports. The 36-year-old specialist has agreed to lead the Germans until the end of the European Championship next summer.
The coach must sort out the final details of his short-term contract with the local federation before officially taking charge of Germany. He will replace Hanzi Flick on the role, who was sacked after the 4-1 loss to Japan in a friendly match. The interesting detail is that Nagelsmann inherited Flick’s position in Bayern Munich as well in 2021.
